About
A family kitchen, open to the neighborhood
Rosso and Vine started as an idea over dinner—what if we could bring the same care and honesty from our own kitchen table to everyone who walked through the door? We opened in Portland because this is where we live, where we shop at the market on Saturday mornings, and where we know our customers by name.
Handmade Pasta
Every sheet of pasta is rolled and cut by hand in our kitchen. We work with simple, honest ingredients and respect the time it takes to do it right.
Wood-Fired Oven
Our pizza comes from a proper wood-fired oven that's been at the heart of everything we cook. You can taste the difference.
Natural Wine
We keep our wine list short because we'd rather know every bottle we serve. Every wine here is one we actually drink and believe in.
Seasonal Ingredients
We build our menu around what the market has that week. This means the food changes, and it means we're always cooking with what's best right now.
A family table
This isn't a chain. There's no corporate office or formula we follow. When you come to Rosso and Vine, you're sitting at a table we've set for you the same way we'd set it for family. The person rolling your pasta today is the same person who'll remember your name next month. We take pride in that—in knowing our neighborhood, in taking care of the people who walk through our door, and in keeping things simple enough to do well.
Dinner here should feel like you've been invited into a household kitchen. No pretense, no shortcuts. Just good food, good wine, and good company.
Part of this neighborhood
We've chosen to be here because Portland is home. Our neighbors are our regulars. We shop at the same farmers market on Saturday mornings, eat at the restaurants down the street, and close on Mondays to rest and spend time with our families. Rosso and Vine is the kind of place you return to—for a quiet weeknight dinner, a weekend brunch with friends, or a celebration that feels like coming home. We're proud to be a neighborhood fixture in a city that values real food, real people, and real conversation.
